Returns & Refunds

This policy explains how returns, repairs, replacements and refunds are handled for purchases made through the Nohmad website.

This policy operates in addition to, and does not limit, any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

1. No Change-of-Mind Returns

We do not offer returns, refunds or exchanges for change of mind, including where you:

  • change your mind after purchase
  • order the wrong item
  • no longer want the product
  • find the product cheaper elsewhere
  • decide the product is not suitable for your intended use

except where required under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item:

  • arrives damaged
  • is faulty
  • is not of acceptable quality
  • is not as described
  • is not fit for its intended purpose
  • or you receive the wrong item

please contact us as soon as possible so we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law.

Depending on the nature of the issue, the available remedy may include:

  • repair
  • replacement
  • refund
  • or another remedy required by law

3. Consumer Guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

4. Return Request Process

To request an assessment for a return, repair, replacement or refund, please contact our support team with:

  • your order number
  • product SKU
  • a description of the issue
  • clear photos or video of the issue, where relevant
  • proof of purchase

Please do not send products back without first receiving return instructions from us.

5. Assessment of Returned Products

We may require the product to be returned or made available for inspection before confirming the appropriate remedy. A business is generally entitled to assess a product before providing a repair, replacement or refund.

If testing or inspection shows that the product does not have a fault, does not breach a consumer guarantee, or has been damaged through misuse, improper handling, unauthorised modification, incorrect installation, or use contrary to instructions, we may decline the return or remedy to the extent permitted by law. Consumer guarantees do not apply where a problem is caused by misuse or abnormal use.

6. Return Shipping

If a product is confirmed to have a fault or other issue covered by the Australian Consumer Law, we will provide a remedy in accordance with the law and reimburse reasonable return shipping costs where required.

If return shipping is required, we will provide instructions on how the item is to be returned.

7. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed to the original payment method unless otherwise required by law.

Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider and are outside our control.

8. Warranty

Any voluntary warranty offered by Nohmad applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and does not replace them. Warranties are extra promises offered by a business and sit alongside consumer guarantees.
