Nohmad Edge CSMS
Edge CSMS is a self-contained EV charging operations platform. It runs the full stack on a single industrial PC at the charging site, and the site keeps charging through WAN and cloud outages.
What runs on the box
Chargers connect to the box directly over the site network using OCPP 1.6J.
A load-management engine sets per-charger limits against the site's current limits and demand caps.
Meter readings come in over MQTT, Modbus-TCP or Modbus-RTU and feed the load management.
The operator interface is served from the same box.
A Modbus-TCP server publishes site state to your building or energy management system.
Why on site
Remote depots, regional industrial yards and sites with a flaky uplink. Charging keeps working through outages.
For customers who need all charging session data to stay within their own premises.
Demand-tariff and industrial sites can't have the load-management loop running over a connection that may drop.
Some buyers won't take a cloud-only charging system. This is the on-premise option.
Edge CSMS works fully without a cloud connection. If you want fleet visibility, an optional uplink can copy sessions, audit records, alarms and one-minute rollups to a separate Nohmad cloud service, in the Australian region only.
It is one install per site and one tenant per install.
